होइहि सोइ जो राम रचि राखा। को करि तर्क बढ़ावै साखा॥ अस कहि लगे जपन हरिनामा। गईं सती जहँ प्रभु सुखधामा॥

Meaning : Whatever Lord Ram has destined will happen. Who can change it by arguing? Saying this, Lord Shiva began to chant the name of Hari, and Sati went to the place where Lord Ram, the abode of bliss, was present.

This chaupai comes from the Sati episode within the Shiv-Parvati dialogue of Balkand. Doubting Shri Ram's divinity, Sati ji set out to test him. Shiv ji counselled her, but when she would not relent he reflected: only that will happen which Shri Ram has ordained; who can extend the branches by argument? Saying this, he began chanting Hari's name, and Sati ji went to where Shri Ram, the abode of bliss, was.
